BRYOPHYTES
Drawing with Indian ink on paper,
220 x 150cm
This drawing, which was done in coordination with a photographic series on the forest’s undergrowth in Combel du Frau (Lot area, south-west France), brings together and superimposes my representations of different bryophyte species that I discovered successively as I explored this place.
By playing with size and scale and by extending some of those representations as if it were a pattern, this drawing allows for a singular vision of this place and its lush vegetation where mosses proliferate, intertwine and become entangled.
