This project revolves around the exploration of the riverbed of an ancient river situated at the heart of an oak forest in the Lot area (Midi-Pyrénées, France), and it brings together an ecosystem of images coming from my multiple investigations on this place.

 

This work, which was done in conjunction with the photographic series Combel du Frau, offers another way to consider this forest’s undergrowth which is part of a Natural Zone of Ecological Interest for Fauna and Flora (ZNIEFF), this time not through an overall view but with complementary and fragmentary approaches that resonate with each other.
